Most of our business comes from splits with other agencies, both on the client side and candidate side. We joined Top Echelon in January, www.TopEchelon.com, which is a split network of 1,300+ recruiters from all over the US in nearly every discipline. This has greatly increased the exposure to our job orders and candidates. Our firm deals strictly in accounting/finance, so unfortunately we are unable to help candidates from other disciplines.
Now, imagine this; you come across a great engineer or salesperson, and you send them to your website. There, they are able to search about 2,000 job orders in Top Echelon, all from other recruiters. If they find a role that makes sense for their background, they can apply directly to that role and the job owner gets an e-mail with that candidate’s information. If it is a match, you get half of the recruiter fee. This is why I am encouraging more recruiters to join the network. The more recruiters, the more job orders and the more candidate traffic. It is a win-win situation for all. I do not work for Top Echelon or get compensated in any way for referring people to the site. I just think this is a way to help everyone make more money, and helps us all better serve our candidates and clients.
