Hi folks,

Let's say one wants to send 2,000 emails to his/her contacts about a position you have available. Any suggestions on how? There are spam issues and also hosting company limits per day on how many emails you can send out. Are you using any software programs to get around that issue? All suggestions are welcome.

Utilizing pretty much any version of Outlook (not express) and Microsoft Word using an Excel spreadsheet with the contacts, can allow you to mail merge an email.

On the ocassions when we have wanted to mass email (like a christmas greeting), we did this, and it would appear in the email to each have been sent individually to each contact, (rather than bcc).

Unfortunately if your ISP limits the total amount of emails, or bandwidth, or size of emails, that is another issue for another day.
