Remember when you were just getting started in the business and trying to learn as much as you can?
That's me, and I hope you can help me out. I have done a little bit of sourcing/recruiting in the past, but not full time. I would like to get into the staffing industry, and I am currently being considered for a jr. recruiter/sourcer position for a local company. The person recruiting me suggested I reach out to some current sourcer to find out more about the position. Any current/former sourcers want to help me out?
Specifically, I am looking for answers to the following questions:
1. What do you like most/least about the sourcer position?
2. What does your typical day look like?
3. How many dials do you typically make in a day, and how many leads does that generate?
4. What advice would you give to someone just getting started in the business?
Thank you in advance, your kindness and generosity with your time will not be soon forgotten!
