We are moving our office on Friday to the one next door, which is about three times the size of our current office. I'm excited about this move because we'll have much more room to spread out and to grow. Right now we are two owners and two recruiters, one of whom is part-time. So, my question to the community is this, "what roles exist in your organization?" I'm debating whether to add another recruiter, a project coordinator/researcher or a recruiting assistant/admin.
Would love to hear what you've tried, and what seems to work best for you.
Thank you!

Hi Pam. We have a team of 3 University Recruiters who only hire candidates that are just graduating from college. We have 12 other full time recruiters that are split by business unit, so one handles Legal, one handles Technology, one handles Marketing, etc. and one Recruiting Associate who handles our candidate travel, expenses, job postings, background check registration, new hires, etc. Each recruiter is also paired with an HR Generalist who handles their business unit - the HR contact is responsible for terminations, performance reviews, etc.
Hope that helps.

Hi Pam,
We are a boutique IT Search & Consulting firm. Our office consists of 3 Account Managers who focus on new biz development and managing existing accounts, we have 5 f/t recruiters who work only with candidates. We have a p/t research assistant who works after hours approx 7 hours a week who finds job leads on the boards, updates candidate records in our database, and gathers intel info on prospective companies. We have a f/t office/system administrator, an office manager, and a receptionist (all who do admin work as well).
We find that by having Account Managers focusing on clients and recruiters focusing on candidates to be very effective. We have had this model in place for about 10 years. We work in a team environment and learn to trust each other. It works well for us!
Good luck structuring your new digs!
-Tom
Hi Pam,
We use a shared office setup, shared receptionist, board rooms etc. We are also specialized so we have an Client Engagement Team with Specialty in Healthcare, Finance, Mining-Energy and Technology - we then have recruiters who support these divisions with those specialties. Our Recruiters are free to work from home or come in to the office all expectations are clear and set in 6- 8 week cycles. Our Client Engagement team also does market and competition research. So my Partner and I + a team of 10... We don't add members to our team easily...
The shared offices allow for complete flexibility we bring our laptops and plug into existing networks phone numbers and Toll Free numbers also plug into Shared office networks with extensions ...
