A good ATS (recruiting software) should be simple, easy to use, must have the familiar look and feel of everyday work Apps (like Word, Excel, etc.,), integrate with Google Docs & Calendar, should be easy to set up and manage workflows or just go about it without any (!!) have a decent Form with script for embedding in my web site & URL for emailing candidates, receive applications and have full visibility (I actually like to see applications appearing in the ATS), ability to share their profile & seek updates from candidates without leaving the ATS, have a Comment box for each candidate which I can email, print or share, allow collaboration with clients for a bunch of candidates attached to a JOB or individual candidates, allow scheduling interviews and auto record it in my calendar & send me email / text message alerts, have a decent Contacts Manager, Job Order tracker, 100% data accessible via iPhone / Blackberry, provide complete "setting up" & train me + team FREE, provide email, live chat, skype & phone support FREE, Full branding for no extra fee AND it must be hosted in the U.S, Canada or Europe.
