I am curious to know how other recruiters feel about supporting internal movement in a company.
The internal hiring process is likely less complex than the external hiring process and may not need all the recruiting muscle of a Talent Acquisition Specialist. There is also a tendency in some recruiters to look at it as a function that should be handled by the HR Business Partners since it is dealing with employees and not with outside applicants/candidates. It is, however, getting the right talent for your hiring manager - whether it happens to be internal/external.
I am interested in knowing what other corporate recruiters are doing - do you currently support the internal hiring process? Are you in favor of that structure? Why or why not?
Would love to hear opinions from my staffing partners as well.......
Thanks
Deepa
