It seems that I am getting fewer names when I conduct a search on LinkedIn. Have they changed the parameters with the new search feature? I've contacted their customer support but I can't get a straight answer. Any insight would be very much appreciated!

As an "unpaid" member you can only view up to 100 profiles, another of their "new and improved" feature.
Scott can you give a specific example of search terms and results. Typically, if the probalem can't be duplicated and then also duplicated by another user it needs to get chalked up to User Error.

I have not noticed any decline in my searches and I have over 13,700 first level connections. One would think that that this type of problem would affect people with more contacts in their networks because if LI is putting limitations on the number of results then people with more connections would have a more dramatic drop in search results.

Other potential problems could be that you need to clear you cache, close IE and then restart with fresh log in. Also try loggin completely out and then logging back in. I have noticed a few errors when I stay pseudo logged in over long periods of time.

Also are you using the search search interface. That might help resolve your issue as well.

Jeff,

Thanks for the info. An example of the specific problem I'm encountering is this: with the old search feature, I would receive a 100 results per search. For each result, I could see the person's name, picture if they had one, title, and company. With the new search feature, I only see that information for about 10 people and the other 90 are just title and company. Any ideas?
