Looking to work for Independent Recruiter

I am 26 years old and graduated from Miami University in 2004. I have sales experience, and am now looking to break into the recruiting industry. Ideally, i'd like to work for an independent recruiter. Is anyone here aware of any opportunities?

Dan, why do you want to work for an independent recruiter? If I were you, I'd join a respected agency, where you can be part of a team, and benefit from listening and strategizing with everyone around you. Plus, in that scenario, you should have either a draw against commission or base salary so that you get a weekly paycheck as well as commission.

Hi Pam- I am not opposed to working for an independent agency, I just don't want to work for a large corporation. I prefer the culture that a small organization, or an independent recruiter can provide. Thanks for your input.
