As a courtesy, I am replying to you with a note, as opposed to archiving your message and forgetting about it.
If you want to connect with someone on LinkedIn, send them a connection invite, not an email saying "add me." That's rude!

A person of few professional??? I had an elementary school teacher who said "Do you honestly believe thinking causes mind pollution?"

Lots of smog out there these days, eh?
And today I received a connection invite, where the individual specified that we worked together at a company i never worked at... heck, I haven't even interviewed there!
Oh well...

TH, I hate giving IDK... even to those individuals :-)
I agree with the one exception that some people run out of invites and this is their way of keeping their networking efforts alive. I still think they should introduce themselves properly with info about themselves etc
Hi how are you??
I actually got an invite to connect recently from someone that didn't have a name - just 2 initials. I promptly clicked "I Dont' Know" this person - seriously, why would anyone connect with a "no name" :) Have a great day!
I agree...I just don't "add anyone" I would hope that they would know you or have friends in common to invite you.

Overacting is OK when the it's just on the computer.......
