My future in recruiting is to find the one single thing that the experts in the industry will agree is truly different and breakthrough....a true evolutionary step forward in thinking when it comes to talent acquisition. Right now, everthing I see is the same as it ever was, just better, faster and cheaper. Advertising still dominates, only now it is electronic. Netwroking is still done but now it is with social networks versus old fashoined lists. Managers still interview candidates but now there are new techniques. My future is to come up with the big AH HA in Recruiterworld. Once I find out what it is and unleash it upon the world, I will have arrived in my profession. That is my future.
