Networking with other Recruiters

I am looking to network with other recruiters in the Baltimore-DC metro area.  I have been in the mortgage business for many years and now am recruiting for a specific mortgage company here in the area.  I come across many lead candidates that just don't fit the bill for my company but may with others - mortgage or otherwise.  I am simply looking to send them somewhere and hopefully get candidate leads in return.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can accomplish building this network?  Where do I start?

Hi Dennis,

On this site, try searching in "Groups" for Baltimore, DC, mortgage, etc., and there will probably be a few groups that might be more narrowly focused on what you're looking for. Then you might "meet" people that are looking for the type of candidates you have and/or need. And most candidates in a specific industry usually have other people in the industry they know and are very open to sharing, as long as they don't think it's their competition for a job!
