Hi Nancy! I'm Tom - welcome to RBC!

I have several "best uses" for RBC, as an independent recruiter:

1) learning how others go about the business and art of recruiting. I wish this community was around when I was first learning to be a recruiter..heck, I'm just grateful it's here now.

2) networking and making friends - I've met some super people who have been very nice to me ( Hi Sandra) and that's important to us one man ( or one woman ) shows..it's nice to not be alone in this line of work, because lets be honest, only another recruiter gets what we go through. everyone else thinks it's a cakewalk.

3) learn about the latest tools - I've found out about a lot of helpful things, like niche job boards, website widgets, you name it..

4) lastly, it's a great place to be heard, and if you provide value, humor, insight, and ask good questions, people will accept you. It's also a good place to get questions answered.

That's all I got - hope you find what you need here.
Here's my answer. Simply, Sandra McCartt! That's it. What else would you possibly need to know or use this site for?
Hey Nancy,

Firstly let me say WELCOME and congratulations on finding this site.

This site is my go to place on the web. The trick to using this site is to engage.. get involved, participate. Write, read and comment. You'll form relationships with people you would never expect to connect with. I have learned more in the last couple of years I have been playing here than I did in the first 10 years of my career.

Welcome again, enjoy

Cheers

Dan
Thanks Dan! I appreciate the welcome and look forward to getting to know the recruiters on the site.
