The Orlando chapter of the Florida Staffing Association (FSA) held their first meeting of 2009 on January 28th. It seemed therapeutic to collectively say goodbye to the dim profits of fourth quarter, and welcome in the prospect of a new and profitable year.

Newly appointed Chapter Vice President Jack Catton spoke to the members about rebuilding our local chapter. Members discussed that there is no better time for agencies to band together, then in this economy.

"In this tough economy we can all stand to benefit through partnerships, and splits. It is also very important for us to be able come together to ensure that we are not partnering with clients that are making backdoor hires.” commented Andrea Clarkson a newly appointed board member.

It seems that we are still waiting for a Chapter President to step up in the Orlando market. We remain confident that our new networking efforts will not only bring us a new leader, but a great local following as well.

Until next time; happy recruiting, and may sales be with you!
