Silver Bullet has always been a favorite movie of mine (saw it tonight), mostly because it was scary, tense, well written and well acted—with some goofiness too. Based on a Stephen King (another of my favorites) novel (AMC is featuring Stephen King movies his weekend). My kids, when they were kids, loved it and were terrified by it.
The goofiness was when the werewolf started bludgeoning victims with a baseball bat. How uncool is that? A monster werewolf beating down folks with a bat. Add Gary Busey and it’s entertaining (though Busey behaved in this one). Corey Haim (RIP).

R.I.P. - Corey Haim. I always enjoyed this one as well Tino. One of the better King to screen movies attempted. Gary is the uncle right? I was telling my Wife earlier how I love these next couple of weeks with cable breaking out all these type horror blasts from the past.
