So what are folks thinking? Going to hold true to form with everyone chasing the guns of Philly? Looks like the Rays are going to be in a battle Jon. I know Bill is happy the Yanks came out strong tonight after rain delay ; )

OOPS!

I guess OFFENSE works too.

STL 14

TEX 6

Top of the 7th

DAMN good game...but it ain't over yet.

SWEET VICTORY!

I guess OFFENSE talks TALL for the St. Louis Cardinals in TEXAS.

STL 16

TEX 7

GAME OVER!

Albert Pujols setting stage for MVP...unfortunately Texas will stop pitching to him...if they're smart.

DAMN good game...but it ain't over yet.

Albert Pujols homers three times in Cardinals' win

St. Louis takes a 16-7 victory over the Rangers in Game 3 for a 2-1 lead in World Series.  Pujols in the company of Mr. October and the Whammer in World Series Play.

St. Louis' Albert Pujols watches his three-run home run in the sixth inning of the Cardinals' 16-7 victory over Texas. Pujols finished the game with three home runs, five hits, and six RBIs--fourteen bases which is unmatched in MLB history for World Series Play. (Brian Snyder / Reuters / October 23, 2011)

A bit embarrassing...getting shut-out in Game 4 of the World Series by Texas.

I guess it is becoming time for the Super Rally Squirrel to appear to distract in support of the St. Louis Cardinals...

@Tino - you OK there? Make it through last night's game? Good Luck closing it out!

I have no idea how I am going to make it through this game.  I swear I passed out in the 10th inning.  If the Cards are leading in the 7th, I am going to head downtown and pray that I get to party.

sorry Jeanene - good luck to you as well. As a UCONN guy I so understand. So much excitement/nervousness rolled into lots of energy. Either way you guys had a great season. Enjoy!

@Jeanene, One more to go.  GO CARDS!

@Tim--I wasn't OK to begin with, but thanks for asking and thanks for your best wishes for the CARDS..

Go figure...every adjective has been used to describe the St. Louis Cardinal march to Game 6 of this World Series.  All along I've said "I think we can" to the unthinkable.

I'm besides myself right now but hope to get it together in the hope for one more win tonight.

For me, so reminiscent of 2002 Game 6, when the Giants were ahead by 5 runs in the 7th  and blew it.  Game 7. they went out with a whimper.

Last night was an epic game.  I wouldn't call it classic because there was some terrible fielding and pitching.

 Nevertheless, spine-tingling.

anything but the rally monkey.

@B--classic is classic 'cause you're a classy guy.  But I prefer "spine-tingling" any day over "classic".  In fact, if they played in the mud with a rabid squirrel running loose--that'd be okay with me too.

@B, RALLY SQUIRREL not Rally Monkey.  Cheesh.
