Antennae Galaxies Alma Telescope
The Antennae Galaxies (also known as NGC 4038 and 4039) are a pair of distorted colliding spiral galaxies about 70 million light-years away, in the constellation of Corvus (The Crow). This view combines ALMA observations, made in two different wavelength ranges during the observatory’s early testing phase, with visible-light observations from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope.

I always loved the quip on Seinfeld from the George Costanza character when he complained about "worlds colliding".

Now we have to contend with galaxies colliding a scant 70 million light-years away.  There goes the neighborhood.

I love that phrase Tino from that episode. I use it quite often in real life when I encounter such scenarios. With that said, this is one amazing photo.  70 million light years away/ Simply unreal.
