My experience is as a perm recruiter but one of my clients is trying to hire my candidate per diem and I don't know what to do about the fee. Can anyone tell me how to bill this? What's the standard fee? Thanks

the easiest thing to do and this is what I use to do though it never came up often is that I would explain that the contract they are seeing my candidate under dictates that if a candidate submitted by me gets hired, a full fee is due. However I would say that if you are going to hire the candidate not on a full time basis, a fee of 15k is due and if the candidate works longer than 60 days, the balance is due immediately. Of course it all depends on the salary of the candidate but I never had issues with doing it this way. i guess you could look at doing it on a contract basis but I was never interested in that stuff.
