Aerodyne Industries a 8a Certified, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, and SDB Certified Aerospace and Defense IT Company that provides federal; systems integration, advanced technical and business solutions in information technology, information security, systems engineering, telecommunications, helpdesk management, scientific support, and management consulting services. We are currently looking for a Project Manager in Corpus Christi Tx.

Project Manager must have training and experience in the supervision and management of personnel conducting IT and Telecom support services.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

-- Knowledgeable of System Management Server, GlobeRanger, Symantec’s Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition, WINS, DNS, and, all aspects of NT Security.

-- Microsoft Desktop products to include any subsequent upgrades/patches.

-- Depot unique applications that shall require depot guidance for ongoing support.

-- Citrix Presentation Server Web Client.

-- Perform the duties of Information Assurance Manager.

-- Knowledgeable in troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to desktop computers, print servers, and printers.

-- Qualified level of working knowledge and understanding of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network environment.

-- Ability to configure and troubleshoot network equipment.

-- Ability to identify and resolve hardware/software/network malfunctions.

-- Provide hardware maintenance such as board replacement, cable switching, communications assistance, and hardware installation and replacement.

-- Knowledgeable of LAN/WAN protocols, such as TCP/IP, X.400, hardware, twisted pair, fiber, radio frequency, cabling and connectors.

-- Ability to analyze, diagnose, recommend and implement solutions for hardware, software and network problems.

-- Provide support and perform minor repairs on Radio Frequency (RF) hardware and infrastructure.

-- Support DLA’s Global E-Mail (GEM) project which consists of reducing the existing email infrastructure within DLA entities, consolidating the number of email servers, and migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.

-- Knowledgeable in install and support server software certificates.

-- Provide support for DMS (Defense Messaging System), DMDS (Defense Message Dissemination System), and ProxyMR (Proxy Message Release System)

-- Ability to research DOD/DLA regulations and policies concerning the DIACAP accreditation. Evaluates DLA’s Information Security System posture and develops and recommends enhancements that balance security and user requirements. Verifies that all network connections are connected in accordance with DOD and DLA policy.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Written Certification or certifiable knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, NT 4.0/2000/2003 Server and Workstation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of (5) years of full-time work experience in the field of IT and Telecom support services.

Information Assurance (IA) Function:

-- Provide application support for IA Functions.

-- Obtain and maintain IA certification appropriate to position.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Secret Clearance.
