Job Description | Relocation assistance will be provided by the company. Additional benefits will be discussed during the interview. Job Description: In this position, the incumbent shall independently handle medium sized projects or multiple small sized industrial projects. This position requires working at office albeit frequent site visits are part of work. Quality control managers are responsible for maintaining the quality and reliability of activities and projects. The scope of work is generally described but not limited to: 1. Develop and implement quality management strategy and plans, including resource, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the organization’s annual business plan and long term strategy. 2. Develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities and projects. 3. Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards. 4. Monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels. 5. Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created/maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems. 6. Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments. 7. Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales. 8. Report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards. 9. Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies (eg BSI, Government Departments, HSE, etc). 10. Manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets, and within policies and standards. 11. Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by quality issues) 12. Contribute to executive policy and strategy. |
Skill Required | Qualification: Higher education Degree/Diploma in Engineering Minimum Experience: 15 years experience in Quality Control and HS preferably in high growth environments Competency: Basic Engineering Quality control programs Quality performances audits HSE systems Key Performance Indicators Quality & Safety Systems ISO guidelines Problem solving Fluent in English (Arabic and French is a plus) Work experience in oil and gas industry Experience in the Middle East Computer literate |
