Recruiting Animal says "Sourcing is 90% " of our job. Can you believe that?

A few quotes (or twuotes if you will....) from Animal:

Sourcing is 90% of recruiting much of the time. Placing contractors or working in a niche might be different.

Once U ID a person who has the background the job is almost done.

Is he doing this just to raise a little ruckus? He certainly can't actually think this - can he? Does anyone know him well enough to speculate here? Does he really lack that much understanding of what "we" do?

Gerald, We're going to argue about this on the Recruiting Animal show. Maybe next week.

I assume the Queen Bee of Telephone Sourcing will be there. You. See if Big Davie wants to come. Anyone else who has specific experience is encouraged to come forward.

Sounds great Animal - but you may want a few more topics in mind. It's gonna be a short discussion going something like this:

Sourcing Animal: "I say sourcing is 90% of recruiting".

Everyone Else: "That is absurd. You're wrong."

Thanks Jerry. Yes, I've been on, I forget the topic but think Maureen and Harry Joiner were on that day as well.
