I have just exited Korn/Ferry International, a leading executive search firm and am now looking for my next Chicago-based role. I'd like to go in-house as a full-time (i.e. not contractor!) corporate recruiter/ talent acquistion/ recruiting/ staffing manager or director.

As a brief background, I have over 11 years executive search experience, having spent the last 6 years with Korn/Ferry International in Europe and North America; prior to this I ran a research department across Europe for a boutique search firm. I have worked across all functional areas, mainly in the technology, consulting, industrial and consumer goods markets (although am familiar with financial services as well).

Does anyone have suggestions about Chicago-based companies that may be recruiting in this down-market? Can anyone direct me towards other recruiters that focus on placing people like me?
