Session Description:

The overcrowded exhibit hall – with all its logistical issues and limitations – is giving way to 3-D, virtual environments; real-time chat accessible from anywhere; 100% share of audience; and fully customizable and branded booths that sacrifice nothing of a company's in-person exhibit presence. Truly, it's a brave new (virtual) world. During this presentation, Tina Krater will provide a guided tour of a next-generation Virtual Career Fair and discuss both the hard and soft benefits of hosting one's own event, the varied uses of Virtual Career Events, and virtual best practices.

Speaker Bio:
Drawing on more than a decade of web sales and account management experience, Tina has realized her vision for a best-in-class Virtual Career Fair (VCF). In 2008, she spearheaded highly successful media-hosted Virtual Careers Fairs in the Chicago market (with more scheduled for 2009) and has hosted several interactive Webinars on the VCF environment, exploring what's new and what's next. Tina is an active member of several local HR chapters: SMA of Greater Chicago, SHRP and HRMAC.
