My name is Tim and I am a Storage Wars addict. Why do I watch this rubbish? Please someone tell me there is a recruiting lesson to be learned here somewhere, or at least let me know I am not alone.
Whew - feel better already getting that off my chest.

1. you're not alone.
2. there is no lesson.
3. you do it because your brain is fried after 12 hours of recruitment type activities and you need to give it a rest. :) That's my excuse for watching any of the Real Housewives... haha
Thanks Amy- I think ; ) My excuse for Housewives is my Wife, but sadly we can probably have quite the discussion on any of the casts.
Bill - had to take a stand somewhere.....NO Jerseylicious (but that quote ruled). Anyway while I agree with you about the fashion tips, I kinda like Barry's skeleton gloves.
YeeeeEEEPPP!
I finally had to admit to the Housewive's watching 'cuz I got tired of trying to flip back to the History Channel when my husband walked in the room. But I still keep my finger on the remote when watching Jerseylicious, can't barely admit that one to myself!
@Sandra: my aunt and sister-in-law both now make pretty good money with their yard sale/flea market/ junking items that they always were into. They re-sell on eBay, etc. and do well. There are 5,028 results on eBay for "horse tack" - perhaps you have a gold mine just waiting to be found! :)
@Amber - that's the ONE show my husband gives me crap about.... he will actually sit down and watch stuff like The Bachelor with me, but draws the line at any of the Housewives. I think I'm just jealous because I live in Seattle and if we had "real housewives" they'd all be arguing over the best french speaking preschool and who didn't (gasp!) put out the recycling. :)
OK - this post is kinda sad (you have been warned)..... so power returns early this morning and my 4yo can't wait to jump into Little Bear. I flip on TV and flip through channels and happened to catch a promo for Storage Wars Dallas? What? A spin off? Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!
I think I will need help....
Hello Tim,
You are alone if you're watching Storage Wars...unless you have pet gold fish (they can't close their eyes).
I'm hooked on on Pawn Stars & Mythbusters...because there is no shame in knowing what pure junk is worth; or knowing if a civil war cannon can take your head off at 100 yards
Pawn Stars - don't get me started..........
Another one I watch over and over thinking I will find something new. Although I have taken a few recruiting lessons from Pawn Stars; When it comes to negotiating shoot real low, always have a friend that is an 'expert', and when all else fails Chumlee makes a mean waffle. OK- just threw that last one out there.
Tim,
Yeah, Pawn Stars always has something interesting going down. I particularly liked the episode where Houdini's straight jacket was confirmed as "authentic" by the expert. Naturally, it was purchased for a trifle of its worth had it been auctioned off with some publicity. The Pawn Boys jumped on that one.

Tino - our own thread and our own group..........
Funny thing is that was one of my favorite as well. I thought it was so cool that they had the pic and could tell by stitches and stuff. I admit I also like the one with the marble from the original Lincoln monument. Do we go for trifecta? Pickers fan as well?
