As a new member to RBC, I am interested to find out what brings each and everyone of you back to RBC on a regular basis.
I have recently started up by myself. If I am honest, it has been alot harder than I thought it was going to be.
I am looking to get support, advice, motivation and development through/from RBC, am I right in thinking I will get all of the above.
I look forward to hearing from you all.

Dominic,
Welcome to the RBC.
To answer your first question—I keep coming back to the RBC because it is full of professionals who work in the recruitment discipline and most have a passion for the work. I like the availability and ability to join a number of groups I have specific interest in and, most of all—I get to compare notes, ideas, stories, war stories, laughter & tears with others in the recruitment community.
You came to the right place if recruitment is a career path you want to pursue. There not a week that goes by without a few discussions and blogs discussing the DOs and DON'Ts in the recruitment discipline. But learning and motivation you seek will depend on your approach, participation and openness to learn a thing or two. You will find many RBC members to be helpful and responsive to your questions and concerns
My initial advice is to delve into as many blog and discussion posts already available to all members on the RBC. Pay particular attention to the "Tips" related ones, to start understanding what is and is not working for some of us on the job. The more you read and the more questions you pose will soon indicate if this will be a worthwhile experience.
You say it’s been harder than you expected…getting into the recruiting business. The more specific your question(s) is the better the responses will be. And if you don’t get a response—ask the question again but with FEELING.
Hope this helps.
Thank you Valentino, I think I may have to rewrite the question...
What Is Your WHY? (Mine: Faith/Wife/Kids) Once you know that, work on your "mental" framework, more so than tactical... Remembering this rule, "Recruiting Is A Contact Sport". To Your Success! Brian-
Thanks Brian, What does WHY stand for?

Why does not stand for anything....
Why do you go to work everyday? (what is you why?) In other words, what motivates you?
Best B-
Apologies Brian... Feel stupid now, i thought it stood for something.
My WHY is definatley My Fiance, My son and pride.
Now I need to work on my mental framework!
Thanks Again B
