We are looking to transfer our CRM into more of an ATS approach. Can you give me your feedback on which one we should look more into? Thank you.

Although our approach has been to utilize more of a CRM (our current software choice), have you reviewed some of the others like Taleo, Gopher, PCRecruiter, BigBiller, etc....I know of quite a few, and have contacts for them if you are interested.

P.S. It wasn't a process filled with choices! We went through several lists of providers with very few of them supporting the Mac (we use Mac's). iCIMS was a major one. That might be an issue for you unless you are ok with using Firefox, and keeping your service web-based.

What do you mean by fairest? Our system relies on pre-assessing candidates for easy job/fit identification. Do you use any type of assessments in your recruitment process?

Have you heard of icims? What do you think of this corporate software? I heard a radio show on RecruiterEarth that got me to check out their demo. It looked good, but I would like to get you outlook since you are in the space. What do you think?

I am assuming you are corporate HR, so in that case I would take a look at HRMDirect or maybe Taleo to start. What are you not getting out of your current software that's pushing you to switch?

Sounds like from your last comment you want to know if anyone has used icims and on your RecruitingBlogs.com profile you say you can't live without icims so help me understand. We here sometimes get taken for rides. It's always a fun ride though
I added that I could not live without my ATS. We did make the switch to icims. I updated my profile when we purchased it.

There are may good options for companies across a broad range of needs.

 

On the higher end, options such as Taleo have a wide range of functionality to suit the needs of more sophisticated, larger corporations that may have multiple HR managers and recruiting departments.  This added feature set also requires more time to learn the application and comes at a higher price point.

 

For small to mid-sized businesses there is a range of Applicant Tracking Systems that have rich functionality, but don't have "all the bells and whistles" of the higher-end products.  These ATS products are easy-to-use, don't require a lot of training, and come at a fraction of the price point of some of the larger systems.
