I am a student who needs to interview an employer who utilizes social networking profiles in their hiring process for a paper I need to write. 2. When looking at (or creating) a social profile, are there particular social network sites you prefer? Why or why not?

3. What do you feel are the advantages and disadvantages of social profiles?

4. In most cases is it more or less beneficial for the candidate when you view their social profile? Please explain your answer.

5. What do you look for when looking at a social profile? Please explain your answer.

6. Do you notify a candidate that you may look at their social profile? Why or why not?

7. Do you feel it is an invasion of privacy to look at these social profiles for work purposes when the profiles are intended for personal communication rather then a resume? Please explain your answer.

8. What would you argue to candidates that feel the content of their social profile is not a valid source of information to base the hiring of a job on?

9. Do you think there is a valid alternative to the viewing of social profiles? Please explain your answer.

10. What is your prediction for social profile viewing in the future? Why?
