Kevin Wheeler, a well respected mind regarding the direction of recruiting, wrote a wonderfully thought out and well written article about video titled, "Video is About to Become King — Are You Ready?"

In his article he mentions the 4 primary ways that video is and will be used by organizations - they include, Branding and Postioning Promotion, Screening or Interviewing Candidates, Resumes, and Outplacement.

As I have been touting since one of my very first articles in this group, Company videos make headlines again!, it is necessary to understand that video comes in many different forms - even within the hiring space.

2009 will be a year that will likely involve a significant amount of change and restructuring. Only time will tell how quickly videos will infuse the "system," but some of us are already seeing dramatic results with those who have chosen to implement it!
