What is the avarage daily rate of Oracle experts?

This is really a very open question as rates are dependant on skill level and technology used. The location of the project also plays a role in how much a candidate will cost. For instance, an Oracle DBA (production) could range from $60-$125 per hour in Boston but could be much cheaper in a more rural area. With the cost of a production DBA being the range above, a candidate specializiing as an Applications DBA would fetch far more because they are harder to find and work with a hot technology. I have known these candidates to ask for up to $175 per hour. Keep in mind, the rates I put are Pay rates only and do not include the markup (cost) that the agency adds on top should you use their services. I hope this helps!
thanks ! Ales
