Hello Cindy,
I left on my own several years ago and I am so glad I did. I started from ground zero, but I read everything I could on starting my own recruiting firm. I even bought a book on the subject through amazon, it was basic but gave me some good ideas on how to put the pieces together. I went through challenges in the beginning but the dots eventually connected form me. If you are planning to go solo, I highly recommend having a specialized niche so you don't get spread too thin and create a strong client and candidate base. I also kept my operation cost very minimal with internet, phone and CATS ATS system which charges me 69.00 a month and they also post my jobs on indeed and simply hired in their services. If you have any further questions, I am always happy to share what worked for me.
Good Luck!
Joel
Hi, Joel! Glad to hear you're doing well.
Cindy, if you need help/advice with anything in particular just ask. There is tons of advice/info on here and other places, but you'll have to wade through and take it all with a grain of salt. Look for words from people who are actually recruiting, lol!
