What are you looking for from an Employer or Consulting Opportunity in terms of benefits, Clients or other tangibles that would entice you to consider partnering your recruiting business with theirs?
As an independent recruiter I "need/require/desire" my clients to be open and honest with me about the position, salary range and why the position is open (not in that order but close). Independent recruiters don't have time to waste with a commission only position. These days I'm asking for 25% up front to be sure that any job order isn't just a pie in the sky request. With money on the table my clients seem to treat my candidates better and I get very good/fast feedback as well.
