Job Description The role: Working with the Plant Manager and Controller, is responsible for the financial analyses of operations, coordinating data input and report generation of the Oracle system, acts as chief liaison between the Mexican plants and Buena Park office in terms of reporting requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Understand and communicate the information flow in a manufacturing environment - Manage the activities for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal production reporting, variance analysis, roll-forward inventories, and costing of inventory. - Reporting to the Director of Finance in Buena Park, respond as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs. - Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports. - Communicate with peers, management, clients, divisions and others in a courteous and professional manner in English and Spanish, as needed. - Prepares the monthly analysis of all inventory related accounts and reserves. - Performs internal audits as necessary. - Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; strategic partnering with Senior Management in addressing performance management; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Skill Required The Person: A Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting. Must have 5+ years experience in a similar position with knowledge in US GAAP and ORACLE Database. Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge. Experience in MAQUILA IMMEX and Mexican regulations for Import-Export of assets and materials for manufacturing plant. Fluent in English. Spreadsheet proficient (Excel). Willingness to Travel (Relocation assistance will be provided).
