Company Description Procurement Specialist for LATAM Based at Costa Rica The company: Chronos Consulting's client delivers managed services to public and private network customers on a global basis, it also delivers scalable and cost-effective solutions to network operators as they outsource their network operations. They are currently seeking for a professional Procurement Specialist to form part of their organization.
Job Description The role: Reporting to Global IT Manager will be responsible for: Support procurement administration of all Information Technology Infrastructure assets (e.g. PCs, Laptops, Servers, Voice & Data Network Communications Equipment), and corresponding software. Need to work with Client on their requirement and fulfil the same within the prescribed SLA. Follow-up with the stake holders on any pending action and with backend procurement team on releasing PO. Vendor management.
Skill Required The person: You possess: Minimun 4 to 6 years of IT procurement experience in the LATAM Region. Strong familiarity with the details required to evaluate and procure computer hardware, spare parts, peripherals, for PCs, Laptops, and Servers. Experience working in SAP and/or other Asset Management related systems necessary to request and fulfill orders associated with procuring hardware, software, and telecommunications related asset requests. Familiarity with and experience working through Value Added Reseller’s web-based portals to identify technical details, pricing, availability, and estimated delivery times for required products and services. Experience prepares documents, presentations, reports, financial worksheets, and diagrams effectively using office productivity tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS Visio, etc…) – as required to support effective inter and intra company communications and reporting.. Stores, manages, and controls versions of project documents and other artifacts in MS Livelink or other document management or record keeping systems. Ability to work with Telecommunications service providers to contract and provision for other telecommunications and network related assets including Mobile Phones, Blackberries, Aircards, routers, and switches. Ability to work in a multi-cultural – global environment. Possesses a strong focus on delivery in a dynamic, challenging and fast moving work environment, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple interdependent activities, priorities, and resources. Assimilates business & process knowledge quickly and effectively. Fluent oral and written skills in both english and spanish. Interested on working on a short term contract ( 6 months, extendable)
