Hi

I represent a search firm from India-and specialise in hiring "returning Indians' for middle and senior management clients across industries.

As the first Indian member of NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network (www.npaworldwide.com), I plan to attend the international conference @ Nashville, TN during the second week of April 08.

I wish to use the event to reach out to as many associates as possible to explore new relationships and provide access to Indian managers for other recruiters -who may need to hire

1. for the Indian market (expats and Indians)
2. Indian managers for global markets

It is the first time I shall be attending an international conference, and in the US. I shall be glad to have pointers on how I can add value to possible associates.

Hi Achyut,
I will also be at the Nashville conference, and have attended many other NPA events/meetings. They are an excellent way to meet fellow recruiters. Bring a lot of business cards, and meet/interact with as many recruiters as you can. You can add value to their business by discussing the opportunities you have available for "importing" their candidates into your clients positions, and as being a source (exporter) of highly talented managers for their clients in global markets. Attend the meetings/seminars, and enjoy yourself. NPA is an excellent organization and the members are top-notch. You'll walk away with some good contacts and most members end up doing some split placements with their affiliates as a result of attending.

See you there!

Hi Achyut,
I'm not sure what my schedule is yet, I have a Board of Directors meeting Tuesday and Wednesday. I'll look for you at the reception, and i think I'm talking at a meeting for "First Timers", which I assume you'll be attending (but I'm not sure when it is). Also, I asked one of the people setting up the meeting if they had assigned someone as your "Meeting Mate" to help you navigate the meetings and introduce you to people. I think it's going to be Jim Gifford, but I'm not sure. You should be getting some info from NPA shortly. Anyway, I'll look to meet you sometime during the meetings.

Best regards,
