Position Description:
Tandel Systems is developing various aspects of the Command and Data Handling (C&DH) Avionics system of the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV).
All applicants must have been exposed to full product life-cycle development and minimum 6 years of experience in C&DH Avionics Hardware. The ideal candidate would have a solid working knowledge of B787 flight control system:
• Developing Requirements Documentation
• Developing detailed system architecture
• Developing detailed operational scenarios
• Developing Design Documentation
• Supporting NASA PDR and CDR meetings
Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of flight avionics design
• Extensive experience architecting flight avionics systems at the box and board
level
• Experience writing Requirements Documentation for Development and QA
• Experience writing Development Plans, Test Plans Verification Plans, etc.
• Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and CMM
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics /
Software Engineering with High GPA
Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Spacewire IP
• Knowledge of TeamCenter data base
