• Design for scalability; create data models and UML diagrams as-needed.

• With other senior developers / architects, determine best
technologies and framework(s) for the applications.
Plan development iterations and schedules.
Adhere to assigned project schedules. Coordinate activities with PM
and other project developers.
Manage development and test environment: installation, configuration,
backup/recover & performance tuning.

Skills / Requirements

Qualifications for this position include:

• 7+ software development experience

• 5+ years experience developing in Java and C++ for a Unix/Linux environment

• C# experience is a plus

• Experience building OO systems using a structured methodology;
experience in iterative development preferred

Our client is currently seeking a mid-to-senior level Flash Media
Server Architect/Developer. Along with other members of the CDN
development team, the person in this role will be responsible for
updating and maintaining the overall architecture and design of the
FMS Live and On Demand infrastructure. Skills / Requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
Experience designing and/or deploying a production FMS solution
Experience architecting a production FMS infrastructure a big plus
Experience developing custom plug-ins for FMS
Knowledge of FMS 3.0
Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as HTTP,
HTTPS, TCP/IP, sockets, UDP, DNS, including FMS-specific protocols
3+ years - software development experience
3+ years - experience developing in C/C++
Experience developing in Java a plus
Experience delivering products and components for a Windows environment
