Looking for "entry level" software engineers with Java and/or C++ skills. Position is located in beautiful Tucson, Arizona and the client will fly out qualified candidates to interview and pay for relocation. The core requirement for these positions is an excellent feel for both object oriented programming (Java preferred but okay if most of experience is C++ if they are interested in Java) AND good "low level" programming (they will be doing real-time embedded development). A strong understanding of threads is also necessary. The successful candidate will not be focused just on GUI (Swing, etc.) client-server development but will instead have a good feel for core software engineering (memory management, etc.). Embedded experience is a huge plus. They are open to hiring someone right out of school. They'll also look at someone with a few years experience but they don't want to go above $80,000 base so no senior developers (however, it is worth noting that Tucson is a great, low cost of living place to live). Company is involved in VERY interesting work including unmanned systems, GPS systems, etc. U.S. Citizen or Green Card is strongly preferred.

These jobs are a bit different than a lot of what is on my desk now so I am very open to any help. The key is both good Object Oriented and "bit-wise" low level skills. Right out of school is fine, particularly if they've had good internship experience. If you have a relatively junior level candidate with both Java and embedded experience then this is worth their consideration. Company is a great place to work both in terms of a cool culture and very interesting technology. Multi-national, mid-sized client with good growth opportunities. Because these positions fall under "college recruiting" or "junior level" the fee is only 15% (which I'll split 50/50) with a 90 day prorated guarantee.
