O.T. Licensure required from the state of Texas.
CPR required, we only accept American Heart Association
Must attend 3.0 CEU every 2 years
Must be proficient in occupational therapy treatment for acute care, in and out patient
populations
Possess knowledge for treatment of neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Understand and able to adjust treatment plans according to the motor development stages.
Possess the ability to coordinate physician, therapist, patient, and family goals into an
appropriate plan of care.
Must be able to educate patient and family about disease process precaution limitations or
sensations related to the patient's condition either verbally or written
or both.
Must be able to treat patients and document appropriately and effectively.
