Company Description Chronos Consulting client is global services company ( inspection, verification, testing and certification services) with over 70,000 employees worldwide and set for aggressive expansion via strategic acquisition and organic
growth. This newly created role will focus on selling services into the
Upstream/ Offshore industry working closely with both Industrial and
Environmental business units.
Job Description The Role: Reporting to the Vice President - Upstream & Offshore based in Houston, you will: Sell multiple upstream services to oil companies ( Tier 1), offshore operators, subcontractors and regulatory bodies. Determine upstream
potential market segment through industry contacts and upstream knowledge and
experience and maintain customer relationships with key upstream customer
contacts and management Coordinate and cross sell with other North America
divisional sales and business development managers serving offshore and
petrochemical clients. Work with executive management and operational staff to
launch new service Maintain sales information systems on a weekly basis and
participate and prepare market share and sales goals every fiscal year Review
and prepare contracts as required ( Master Service Agreements,etc) Work closely
with his/her counterpart in Oil, Gas & Chemicals to ensure a common market
face approach.
Skill Required Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering/Science. MBA preferred. Minimum 5 + years experience in a senior level business development/sales management role with in the Oil and Gas industry. Proven track record and well connected in
the Upstream/ Offshore market Demonstrated experience in building new business
and / or extending services into new markets by building strong client
relationships. Strategic mindset, energetic, self starter attitude and
collaborative approach to problem solving for win / win solutions with peer team
members, management and customers. Excellent written and verbal skills with
ability to negotiate at the most senior levels
