Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

New figures have shown that over half of employees worry about work during holidays, which may interest those looking to set up a recruitment agency.

The research, published by Water Wellpoint, shows that 62 per cent of workers surveyed worried about work during time away because they expected a backlog to clear upon their return.

Meanwhile, 44 per cent of respondents spent the week prior to their holiday trying to organise their workload to minimise the amount of work built-up while they are away.

Managing director of Water Wellpoint Brian McGellan commented: "Holidays are supposed to offer employees a chance to recharge their batteries and switch off from the world of work for a week or two. However, our survey reveals that many find holiday absence to be a stressful juggling act."

Recent research by Medicash has shown that men take more sick days than women due to workplace stress.
