Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

New research has shed light on how the recession has changed levels of trust employees hold for CEOs, which may be of interest to those intending to set up a recruitment agency.

The study, published by the Institute of Leadership & Management and Management Today magazine, surveyed 5,000 people, of which approximately half were managers and half non-managers from all voluntary, public and private work sectors.

It found that employees held more trust for CEOs that opted for flexible working and shorter hours, rather than forced redundancies, for staff.

Female CEOs were found to be more trusted by their employees, having an index score of 68 as opposed to 63 for male CEOs.

Meanwhile, the study also found that line managers command more trust than CEOs.

Recently, Onrec reported that employees are more likely to be motivated by incentives other than money, according to new research from Psychtests.com.
