Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

Unemployment in the north of England may rise to ten per cent in the next five years, which may interest those looking to set up a recruitment agency.

The research, published by the Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR), shows that unemployment will continue to effect the north in particular, while the south and London may increase their grip on large portions of the economy.

"In London, where financial and business services account for more than 30 per cent of the economy, the share of total national economic activity will shoot up to nearly 20 per cent, compared with 16.3 per cent in 1995," comments Sarah Arnott of the Independent.

Fears for an increase in jobseekers in the north have been fuelled by the government's public spending cuts, according to the publication.

Recent figures from the Office for National Statistics showed that male employment fell by 70,000 between April and June.
