Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

New figures show that the UK has the highest number of workless households out of the major European Union countries, which may be of interest to those intending to set up a recruitment agency.

Workless households - those in which no adults are working - currently account for one in eight homes in the UK, according to a report by the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS).

According to Dr Warburton of Economic Perspectives, if the number of workless households was reduced by ten per cent, the country's gross domestic product could rise by one per cent.

"Increasing work participation is important not just for the families involved, but also to strengthen the British economy and to aid recovery - a recovery in which everyone can play a part", comments director of the CPS Jill Kirby.

Some 35,000 temporary roles are expected to be created to process the 2011 Census next year.
