Total Back Office Solutions can give you recruitment agency formation advice

Jobsearch, a recruitment scheme for high-end jobseekers, has been allowed to continue by the government, which may be of interest those intending to set up a recruitment agency.

The scheme will continue until March next year; however, many other similar schemes have been discontinued as part of the government's focus on cutting public spending.

Run by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) with the Department of Work and Pensions, the schemes directors are said to be pleased with the decision.

The REC's director of external relations Tom Hadley said: "This is an endorsement of both the credence and success of the scheme in giving high end jobseekers the best support and advice possible from our participating members to help them get back into work."

A recent study by Personnel and Development (CIPD)/KPMG found that nearly half of all employers are finding it difficult to fill vacancies, according to Human Resources Magazine.
