When Past is Prologue and We Didn't Start the Fire

Oooh we're excited today. Not only are we newly inspired by the Kennedy/Onrec conference, prepping madly for the HREvolution unconference and have some great posts, we're also kicking off a new series. And judging by the buzz already, it's going to be great! A big thanks to Amitai Givertz for working his editorial magic to make this happen.

The Featured Writers' Series will have a different writer every Friday. Someone who may not visit our community every day but has a great (often bird's eye view) view of our industry. Who better to kick off such a series than Raghav Singh? If you aren't familiar, you'll get there fast with We Didn't Start the Fire.

In today's Top 100, John Sumser introduces us to a Recruiting Futurologist, Mr. Matt Alder. Read the entire Top 100 piece here.

Jeffrey Burkhardt shows us how to learn from our mistakes in When Past is Prologue.

And Craig Silverman asks what kind of recruiter are you? A fresh look at an age old discussion.

We've got some exciting stuff coming up in the next few weeks. Stick with us and tell us what you love and what's making your life easier. We're genuinely interested.

Our brand new candidate portal (still under construction, although you're invited to take a sneak peek) Talent Bar was featured on the Ning's blog yesterday. Check it out and if you're interested in being a part of it, shoot us an email.

And yes, we have a facebook page. We'd love to see you there, check it out here.

Have a great day and a better weekend.
