If you've ever worked in a Dark Room you know that the challenge is to keep the Dark in the Dark Room.  Failing to do this exposes and thus ruins the film being developed that is sensitive to light. 

So if you see the a job title or duty:  Keeper of the Dark on a resume it may refer to a Heavy Metal Band or a Dark Room worker.  It's a skill that is highly valued in the Dark Rooms of America where the fanatical refuse to go digital.
