Jerry, I read your blog on Splits and really like your comments. The only thing I would ask you is what do you do when there is a fall off. Who is responsible for replacing the candidate during the guarantee period?

I am an independent recruiter in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. I have worked with other recruiters in the past and have enjoyed the results of many splits both through finding candidates for their clients and receiving candidates for my clients. It isn't something I would jump into without trusting and knowing the other recruiter but as the saying goes "a half a loaf of bread is better than none". I think all independent recruiters need to find other recruiters to work with. It can get lonely…
