Failure to plan



Its a typical Monday morning.  The staff comes in to work in the usual fashion.  The beginning of the workweek yet again, however, something is different.  Over the past couple of years, sales have been "OK" but you have seen better years in the past.  You have shrugged it off and blamed it on the bad economy.  Yes, it must be the economy.  The worst financial times since the great depression.... THE "BUSINESS" OF DIVERSITY. PLAYING IN SOMEONE ELSE'S SANDBOX!!

Lets face it. Regardless if you like it or not, we are all dipped and fried in diversity everyday. Yes... EVERYDAY.  Diversity shows itself in the cars we drive, the food we eat (I like sushi and I am not Japanese!), the music we enjoy, where we choose to live, and even our choice of entertainment.  At work, we see diversity in ages, cultural backgrounds, skill sets, experience, etc... it all equals PEOPLE.
