Just a quick note about how NOT to get an HR Director to work with you. Send an email like this:

"Most recruiters who were calling you last year are no longer around; but you, the hiring manger, and I, a recruiter, are survivors and still here! I would love to take 20 minutes of your time to learn about how I can recruit FOR you rather than FROM you."

Don't threaten that if I dont work with you, that you'll recruit from me. To me that's just a challenge. Bring it.

One of my favorite movie scenes of all time is from Jerry Maguire. Rod Tidwell, Jerry’s client, is telling him about the Kwan. Basically it equates to everything.
