I just posted an interview with Scott Monty, the social media go-to-guy at Ford Motors. Scott recently accepted a position with Ford, and I was curious about how it transpired. There are no metrics and few job descriptions for social media positions, so I've been writing them up and trying to interview people who are hiring and getting hired.

Sorry about the title - I've always wanted to be an evil genius, but I seem to be missing both the evil and the genius part.

Chris Russell built the JobsinSocialMedia social network for social media folks, and with my focus in the industry, it made sense to reach out and snag it.

Who says that flipping domains is a thing of the past?

Staying Focused In A Down Economy

I've had the opportunity to chase a couple of searches in the last six months that were out of my specialty. Two companies wanted local marketing experts, a Seattle company wanted a recruiter, two tech firms wanted some high value placements and I worked on some splits with a friend.
