5 Best Recruitment Marketing Articles of the Week 7.1.11 to 7.8.11

Here is our weekly feature in which we share the top articles we enjoyed from the past week about recruitment marketing, social recruiting and anything else in the recruiting space. This week we'll be talking about metrics and accountability in HR, recruiting trends, being appropriately frustrated, HR Technology integration and employer branding.

Here are the articles our that interested us this week (in no particular order), enjoy!:

Think Metrics and Accountability is Lame HR? Remember the Challenger by Dawn Hrdlica (@DawnHRrocks)

Great takeaways from the Challenger tragedy that can be used by HR and Recruiting professionals.

Recruitment Takeaways from the Social Recruiting Conference 2011 by Hung Lee (@Wise_Man_Say)

Some great insights from Hung on where recruiting is headed from his time at the Social Recruiting Conference.  I agree with most of his points especially 1 and 3!

Are You Appropriately Frustrated? by Charlie Judy (@HRfishbowl)

Charlie shares with us a great new mantra he's come across!  I don't know about you but I may use it going forward!

Just because you buy from one vendor...integration guaranteed? by Jason Averbrook (@JasonAverbrook)

Nice post by Jason on the questions you need to ask internally about new technology and how it will be integrated with your organization.

I do encourage you however to ask vendors questions about integration during the research process and before you begin implementing the technology.  Any good vendor will be a resource in this process.

Employer Branding without Borders - A Pathway to Corporate Success by Brett Michington (@BrettMinch)

A pretty comprehensive look at how the environment for employer branding is changing and a lot of areas you need to think about when developing your own.

Hope you enjoy the list.  If you have any articles I should add to the list feel free to add them to the comments or send me an email at chris@smashfly.com or follow us on Twitter @smashfly.
